After you’ve had your consultation and gone over your treatment plan with your provider, we’ll start to treat your wound. We treat wounds by using a breakthrough medical technology called amniotic wraps. These amniotic wraps are made from amniotic tissue that is harvested from the leftover amniotic tissue after a woman delivers a full-term baby through a c-section. This procedure is completely harmless to both the baby and the mother, and all the donors of amniotic fluid are screened for diseases and biological contaminants to ensure that it is safe to use.
